Materials
2-3 shades of spray paint (this video shows purple, pink and blue)
Bottle caps (7 for each flower)
Hot glue
Chopsticks/skewers (1 for each flower)
Parchment paper or newspaper
Directions
1. Lay your bottle caps face up on a piece of parchment paper or newspaper. You’ll need seven caps for each flower. Coat each bottle cap with your choice of paint.
(Tip: Arrange your caps into flower shapes and spray them that way so you know you have enough.)
2. Once your paint dries, arrange your caps into flowers.
(Tip: Use a different-colored center or alternate petal colors for an extra pop of color.)
3. Attach your caps together in a flower shape with hot glue. Lay out a coat of glue in a circle on the caps so they are essentially attached to a string of hardened glue.
4. Once the glue dries, flip the flower over and attach the center to the middle of the petals with hot glue. Glue the flower to a skewer or chopstick, and allow it to dry.
Decorate your herb garden or planter box with your new flowery decorations. Aren’t these adorable?
You can add a little personality to your home in just a few minutes with this fun project. They’re not only easy to personalize, but easy and inexpensive!
